On May 31st, 2026 our kehillah was privileged to enjoy our inaugural shul dinner at the Hilton DoubleTree. The dinner honored three individuals who have played a pivotal role in building and strengthening our Kehila, while at the same time serving as a launchpad for enhanced night seder programming.
Rabbi Iser was honored in recognition of his foundational efforts in establishing the shul, in addition to his continued selfless dedication to the Kehila on a day-to-day basis as our Mara D'Asra.
President Emeritus Jake Chames was honored in recognition of his enduring legacy as a founder of our community.
Rabbi Aviel Abaei was be honored in recognition of his efforts in developing and elevating our night seder program.
The dinner was attended by current shul members, former members, and many others who attended out of kavod and hakaras hatov to the honorees. The Rav addressed the kehila, which was followed by a scintillating performance by world renowned mentalist Michael Samen. During the main dinner course, videos highlighting the respective backgrounds and remarkable efforts of each of the honorees were displayed. Finally, a video emphasizing the significance and success of the shul night seder programming was presented prior to dessert. The dinner campaign acted as a night of inspiration and connection for the kehila and all those involved, while serving as an inflection point to propel the future success of the shul's night seder learning opportunities.
